Blake, Smith & Co. steam radiators

Does anyone have any experience with Blake, Smith & Co. steam radiators? They are not cast iron sectionals but have a cast iron base and rows of 3/4" pipes up to u-bends that connect every two tubes. The base looks like it might have a manifold casted into it to direct the flow of steam. They are two pipe radiators with no visible traps so I wonder if there is an orifice in the outlet. They also have a separate riser that has an air vent that you would find on a one pipe radiator. Very wierd!
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Sonny Boy
