Olsen HML-80C Furnaces

Has anyone ever changed a firebox for an oil-fired Olsen HML-80C furnace? I was sent to change one today, I was givin a wet pack chamber. The original one is molded ceramic. I didnt and would'nt put the wet-pack inside the original firebox, as the directions stated. I've found, with prior experince, that the wet-pack dries and becomes Brittle and could collapse, impinging the flame. I called Olsen Tech support, and they said they have never changed or heard of one being replaced. Big HELP. I'm curios if anyone else has encountred this. I've changed out fireboxs in furnaces, usally it's either a timesaver cut in half and baned together or an exect replacement.

Thanks
Henry

    May I ask why

it was being replaced, usually those ceramic chambers have a long life, I might line one to limp it through but not as a replacement.

The original Installer, Put in a 1.00 60W @ 160pump psi the max firing rate is .65 80A with 100psi. This, and very poor set up and huge gaps in the duct work, sooted up the house. The original "installer" Came back to clean the furnace. In doing so he pushed thru the top left to vac the chamber. He didnt change any of the prior settings and, of course, it sooted up again. So the cust called us to fix it. I took care of everything else but the firebox. I'd like to find the excat replacment or i'll have to put in a timesaver#9 Thanks
