Radiant and hydro-air
Well, I wanted to show this install because of some of the obsticles.
First, we started this job in January 2006. Its a 900 sq. foot house on the water. They were finally ready for us to start it up today.
System: 11 loops of Wirsbo Quick Trak split in two zones. The flooring is 3/4 hardwood. One hydro-air zone for supplemental heat, but mostly for cooling. The owner wanted to keep it simple so we are using only one reset temp. The hydro coil is over sized for the house and the btus from the coil are very small.
Challenge: When this system was sold, the Buderus out door reset was not available. It was understood that when it did come out, it would have to be purchased and added. Well, now that its out, they didn't want to buy it.
Solution: I decided to experiment on this one and not use the indoor sensor and we don't have the out door sensor. This will be a set point system. System water temp of 125 degrees. We ran it today and 125 degrees out of the air ducts seemed warm enough. This solution may change, but I think it will be fine.
Statement: I use quality American, European and other foreign made components.
These pics were taken this summer. I forgot to take pics today.

set point
Thanks for the kind words.
Well I got an email from the owner today. Everything is nice and warm. I'm interested to see how the Set point will work in this application though.

GB's
Ted, I just installed my first GB a week or so ago. It's heating the occupied areas of the house while the kitchen remodel continues. I won't be finishing with the low temp or DW for a while. Any way, the owner left me a message that he likes the boiler so much he's still walking around with his pants around his ankles0
