I'm still not done with the Thyroid cancer battle, yet. Won't be given the all clear sign until one year from the original diagnosis date, which was March 18.

I have almost fully recovered from the Legionella experience, and had a near miss with Melanoma skin cancer last week (WHEW) but got the all clear sign on that one on Friday of last week. Gotta keep an eye on them moles at ALL times.

As my ol' pappy used to say, "It's hell to get old..."

Sorry if I come across as crotchety to some. My tolerance for BS is getting shorter the older I get. ;-)

The Good News is that you have just about recovered from all these health issues. The Bad News is that I didn't know about them! Sounds like you have had a tough year. While I am saddened to hear about all your troubles,I am very happy to hear that you are doing OK now.

My late father used to tell others "Don't complain; getting old is a privilege not everyone is accorded" when they expressed unhappiness with the aging process. Not that you're complaining! :-)
