Model specfic in mounting/length/etc. There are generic sensors from Robertshaw or White-Rogers which can be cut and/or bent BEFORE you heat it. But why not get some info off rating plate (like model # or city of man.) and see if someone here can't narrow things down a bit?

Hi all, thanks to those to responded to my last post about scuffing the flame sensor so it doesn't cut out too fast. My next question is how do I know what type/model sensor I need and where can I get one? My furnace doesn't have a brand on it (it came with the house) but isn't older than 5 years. The sensor itself if pretty basic, about 3 inches long. I don't know if the sensors are universal or model-specific. Thanks!0
