I have a raypak 136T and i am having a problem with the limit on the flue collecter box opening up before the temp in the boiler gets close to the high limit. The limit is set for 180 with a 40 diff. At first i thought that maybe the heat exchanger was dirty. I did clean that up.still doing the same thing. clocked meter, and thats not the problem. Now i figure maybe a flow problem. I change piping making it primary secondary. Still does the same thing. so i call the distributor and they say that the temp on my limit is the correct, and is supposed to be on the side of the flue collecter box.I do believe that this boiler is meant to be an atmospheric burner without the use of any fan assist. Not sure what my problem is with this boiler, other than its in one of my own houses. Might be a little hard xplaining this to a customer. Any raypak experts out there please give me a shout. I cant imagine that this boiler is supposed to cycle this way

Limit on flue collector box?? Sounds like a draft problem tripping a blocked flue limit??
