carbon monoxide testers
i would like to find out what you all use and a price range they cost. i will be getting one, but only have one arm to buy it and want to get the right one.
thanks for your input

Ricky, call me
A single gas (CO) analyzer will make sure the equipment you set up is operating safely, a full combustion analyzer will give your customers 'facts' and help you grow your business. Give me a call, I'd look forward to talking with you - 412-576-1350.

Hi Ricki,
I'm fairly new to the industry myself, But the majority of my electronic equipment is made by TPI. I'm not quite sure of the model number, but I paid $138.00 new. I know if you go to e-bay & another place i stumbled onto yesterday, I think it was called thomas net. They have some good products @ fair prices. I usually google HVAC tools & go from there. good luck & listen to the names that you see most often on most of the threads. They are smart, funny & extremely helpfull!!

Daniel, ya gotta be kidding me
If you expect a quality product and technical support for $138................................ give me a break.....
Daniel, tell you what, call somebody at TPI, ask them some questions, then feel free to call me.....0 -

Ricky, Rudy's right
a full-fledged combustion analyzer is your best bet here. Besides measuring CO (in flue gas stream or ambient air) it has all the other functions that will let you set up oil and gas burners properly.

Ricky,
Does your wet kit give you a digital print out that you can show to your customers and have documentation for yourself should any problems w/ the equip. arise?
You got some splaining to do...........

i don't mean to affend anyone here but i do not need a unit to set my burners. i have one already . i need a unit to test the air in the house only. i do not need a print out for this.0 -
Fluke just came out w/ a new air meter . Fluke 975.
It does, CO, CO2, velocity, temp., humid.
Probably not cheap, but I have Fluke testers that are 20 yrs + and still working perfectly.
Good Luck

on 2nd thought, the Fluke 975 is $2,000.00.
