hi guys,
just wanted to let you know i apologized to dan for venting (pun intended) on some of you during a ruff period i had. i offer the same to yall and hope all is well. anyway here is my ? why won't most munincipalities allow a hvac guy to pull a permit for a hot water heater install, but they give one to any joe schmoe homeowner. is it an insurance thing?

Thats the funny part you can't wire new contrustion, but can wire all replacements from the firematic down.Not to degrade electicians, but most have no idea how to wire advanced heating systems, alot of the time i have to do the wiring while they are there or talk them thru it.
