Steam to Hot water conversion

I have an old Steam oil boiler (45 Years young) on a two family 3 story house. The house was renovated a couple of years ago, by the previous owner. during the renovation they removed all of the radiators and installed copper Slant/Fin in every room. My desired is to convert this sytem to hot water when I replace the boiler.

To do this I'm planing to run two pipes one 3/4 and 1" for the feed and return from the basement to the attic and make all branch not loop connections. Will I have any problems with air if the branchs go up and down from the attic to the 2 floor?

    steam to water conversion

?????????they installed copper SlantFin and it's still steam??? Something doesn't ring right on the way you described your system. I don't follow what you have in mind to do, so I can only recommend that you get a heating professional in there to look things over. Wish I could help more, and I know that "telling the story" is not always easy, but I'm just not sure of what you have or are trying to describe. Good luck.

    Thanks for the reply.
It does sound strange, but these are regular hot water radiators on steam. not efficient, they get cool as soon as the boiler goes off. I have had some prfessionals come by and most suggest to install cast iron radiators as an easy fix. but I rather convert to hot water for easy zoning. I have created a possible plan see drawing.
