My old house has in the living room a fake fireplace. I will like to remove that mantel and get a real fireplace that can help me keep the house warmn in the winter days.I am not sure which will be the best way to go. A wood fireplace insert; a wood pellets;or other kind . I am trying to stay away from the gas and electric because the purpose will be to save money in gas en electric itselft. any ideas o sugestions will be greatly apreciated.
