We have a saying here, as I'm finding they do almost EVERYWHERE. "If you don't like the weather, hang out for 10 minutes, and it will change..."
"tis a privelidge to live in Colorado"
70 degrees F, partly cloudy, pumping 160 degrees F into Mother Earth :-)

And how is your weather
The ME Portland buoy was reporting 21 foot wave height. The wind is wicked strong but the floor is warm and the feet are happy.. Ahhhh....0 -
It was a SPLENDID day.
We had 50+ mph winds, 2" of rain and power outages every hour for the last 12.
I was doing some work at my parents home, and just as I finished changing the switch, the power went out. I moved on to the next project...and the power came on. Switch worked but the canopy blew off the porch swing, catching a limb and shredding as I was about to take it down.(Timing IS everything!)
I went to look at another job for a friend. As I was pulling in the driveway, I saw the water dept. truck leaving the street. His water main shutoff had let go.Minor flooding ensued.
(Thank you Rodney Dangerfield)...but I'm afraid I'm going to have to pee sometime. A bad day trying to work beats a good day, and is far more exciting....and funny too! Chris0 -
Running on Standby power
Running on the generator as we speak. My weather station recorded a 48MPH gust at about 4:40 this aft.Benn snowing on and off at about 35* all day and the lake effect will be kicking in shortly with this temp and wind direction. (NW) Had a 5" diameter limb blow out of the maple and land against the living room window. Didn't break thank goodness. That'd be a pretty good breeze whipping through the house. Power is out in patches all over and being in a rural area, we're kind of low on the totem pole for repairs if you know what I mean. I don't envy the linemen in the bucket trucks in this steady 30MPH wind one bit! Gas and fire I can deal with but I don't want nothin' to do with 14,000V swinging in the breeze. Those boy's earn their keep on days like this.0 -
No wind, almost 60*, sunny here in SLC today....nothing happened but the antique stores!

amazing fortune
Working on descaling, cleaning, tuning etc etc an ancient sectional steamer in remarkably good condition.
High winds, sleet, bam. Power out. Hmmm. Gas valve says "For manual operation..." Hehehe. Homeowner is unaware of this feature, and I'm not going to tell them since there are no safeties when the valve's opened manually. But for the moment I was in the warmest house on the block!

Sunny and 71 in Denver...
Great day for harvesting BTU's from the sun!
Going to be even warmer tomorrow when the undefeated Colts come to town...
New name for the Denver Broncos Defense, Colorado Hold'em.
Up until last weeks game, only one team had scored a touch down against them this season. Last week the second touchdown of the season happened, but only once...
Not sure, but I think they tied an old NFL record with that. I know they set a new one for Denver.

Mark,
Did I not hear of almost a foot of snow there about 2 days ago?
Wow! I thought we here in New Engalnd had weather changes daily, but apparently you all get them hourly. Fall has fell. The winds did wonders for the leaf clearing in MY yard today...they all went flying into the river. Makes things easier in the next couple of weeks for me.
Dark, overcast and 60° right now.....Chris0
