circ selection basics...

I lost my bookmarks, and lost the links to grundfos's specs on circ selection, as well as any suggested reading material on head calculation. Any ideas on beginning head calculation and circ sizing?

That really helps for circ selection, but what about figuring head? Lateral & vertical? I do primarily boiler replacements on old converted gravity systems, usually replacing the old B&G circs. Some 2-3 stories, usually 2-3" pipes for system.

Is anyone familiar with a B & G H 1 1/4" , P-5, 4J circulator. Its old probly out of the fifties but still working. Want to know any specs on it since it needs to be replaced with Taco or Grundfos.
