Cast Iron vs. Steel?

I'm not familiar with the EK boiler, but I am familiar with the Viessmann boilers. The Vitola Biferral is unlike any other boiler. If I was burning oil in my own home, I would use a Biferral. You could connect it to a 4-way mixing valve or use a Divicon mixing station. Set it on a Horicell indirect water heater and you still have a pretty compact footprint.

Cast Iron vs. Steel
Hi,
Looking to replace a 30 year old New Yorker (Oil Boiler). Not sure if I should get a Cast Iron (such as Viessmann) or a Steel (such as Energy Kinetics System 2000).
Any thoughts?
Thanks
