Moving radiator to adj room

Hi

I want to move a radiator across a small room (closet) and through a wall to an adjoining room.

I have a one-pipe steam system, the radiator on this run branches off a line going to a room in the attic. I plan on running the pipe over the floor: I want to keep the room warm. The total distance will be 8 feet of pipe.

I don't have any obstructions boring through the wall. I plan on using a valve at both ends of the pipe.

I don't know whether the pipe should have a slope.

I'll have the pipe cut at the plumbing supply house. What are other considerations in ordering this piece and running the pipe through the wall. I imagine I have to get it treaded.

Advice is appreciated and thanks!

    Slope

Yes you have to pitch everything back to the system with no traps or pockets to collect condensate..You will need to clean and skim the boiler water after the work is performed.
