Water hammer
I have a water hammer noise in my baseboard heat every time the zone valve turns off. They are honeywell zone valves and they are mounted on the feed side of the boiler. Boiler temp is 180 and psi is 20.0 -
Bada-Boom ina pipes
You mentioned only one zone valve, what about the other zones? How many zones in total and what are they for? Pics?0 -
Pipe Banging
Normally this can be resolved by removing one of the return springs on each valve. The problem normally happens when two zones are calling and one satisfies and closes. The valve closes too fast and creates this banging noise. By removing one return spring on each valve it will close slower and not try to bounce back open while closing.0 -
Thank You Ron I just tried it and it worked0
