That's a nice structure for sure. One to be proud of.
Wow, that is some wall of glass.
Would love to see pics of the prestige and the supplemental.

Q: I take it the walls are well insulated, even though it does not look it.
Did you do the Lindab spiral duct also, I noticed another mechanical contractor also listed in the credits.

See link below to an article on a unique barn that we finished last fall. We heated the barn with a Prestige boiler feeding a radiant system in the basement slab and extruded plates for the main level (under 1-1/4" oak planks). The architect advised the owners that radiant alone could not heat the structure even though my calculations indicated they would (with supplemental recessed convectors along the length of the glass wall). Two scorched air systems were added to supplement the radiant system - they did not fire once last winter. -DF

    Hi Devan,

The walls are 6" SIP's so it is well insulated and actually pretty tight. The spiral duct and forced air system was done by another contractor.

The supplemental heat consisted of finned tube convectors with flush mounted cast iron registers over top of the fin tube. I'll track down the photos tomorrow when I am back at the office. Thanks for the comments. -Dan
