Planning an installation in a 4 unit building using a GB 142/ 60 boiler. Contemplating using Tekmar Net 4 system with 420 boiler reset module, two 336 zone managers and 5 - 542 thermostats. The stats feed info back to the control and adjust the boiler water temp and other parameters based on conditions. The other option is to use an Argo or Taco box and let the boilers outdoor reset module due the controlling. Anyone have any feedback on the Net 4 controls? It seems for not much more money you can get a more sophisticated system.

Take a look at www.weil-mclain.com
Under consumer tab look at the ULTRA BOILER tab...
The Weil-Mclain Boiler has outdoor sensor included with boiler...Plus 90+ % efficent...
Look it is worth a look...

I have 7 GB install's with Tekmar TN4 controls. Set up just the way you describe. It works great. You will need a EM10 module for interface between the two.
The Weil-McLain Ulra will ONLY do outdoor reset. It will NOT sinc zones, provide indoor PID, conrol zones, or network zones, etc. However you can also use an Ultra with TN4 controls.0
