Combination steam and hot water heating
I came across a job the other day where one part of the house was heated by steam (existing system) and the other part (addition) was heated by radiant baseboard. The company who done the addition had configured the hydronic loop to pull from the water in the boiler, instead of using a heat exchanger. Also I have yet to totally figure out the controls, what are some major problems this system will face and what is the correct way to use Combo systems?0 -
