Noise in boiler
I have a gas fired hot water boiler with 3 zones. Water temp is set to 180. I have blead the system of air and replaced the expasion tank because of a leak. When the system is under fire and coming up to temp I hear what sounds like expansion noises at the boiler and every so often I get a single thump.I have all baseboard radiators and the sound is not the usual crackling noise that you hear when a zone calls for heat.I run about 20 psi under load at the boiler. Any ideas on this problem? LT0 -
