    I will be

    in Seattle that day for a 3 day class, so I will be a little closer to Bill's Restaurant than normal. Will send out good thoughts for you and will be thinking of Jerry. I too will miss him, wish I could be there also, but accept this as an e-hug. Keep in touch Ruthe, hope to see you in the near future.

    I'm not ready for the thread to disappear

    I plan to bookmark this thread and bring it back now and then to reflect on what a great guy Jerry was -- to all of us. I encourage others to bookmark it to and let the thread live in cyberspace indefinitely.

    Last night

    a few hundred of Jerry's close friends showed up to eat, drink, talk, and be very merry at his memorial party. He would have liked it a lot.

    And Ruthe looked gorgeous, as usual.

    John, she copied your column and handed it out to everyone. It did just what you had hoped it would do. Thanks.

    A very huge thank you to all of you that came to Greenfield Wed night. I had a wonderful time and it was a perfect send off for Jerry. I'm sure he was up there smiling all the while. Thanks again and hope to see you all in the near future.

    I really appreciate all the thoughts and prayers that have come my way. I am sure that Jerry is right here looking over my shoulder every time I read this wall. It was his favorite place to be.
