    uei from apple electronics

I purchased uei model C100A kit from this same vendor (Apple Electronics)last january, they had the best price at the time, seems to be good unit, although I am still learning to use all it's features, the instruction manual is poorly written. These are actually made and sold in england by Kane-May a long time maker of cumbustion analyzer.

    I like it

I own one of these units, and I like the fact that you can change the "top line" of the display. You dont have to scroll through mulitple screens to get the information you want. I have sent the unit back to the factory for calibration, and the equipment was back in my hands in just over two weeks, excellent turn around time.

I also have access to other test equipmnet, a Testo 325 as well as a Fryrite 125. In a side by side comparison, all three worked well. Dollar for dollar, the UEI has the most for the least $$$$. IMO

    I got one

And it seems fine (C75). I got it as a first time buyer because of the cost, and on recommendation of an experienced user. Sent it back for a new O2 sensor and calibration after the first season at no cost; one week turn around. Think I'll get the optional printer. Wish you could buy and install O2 sensors pre-calibrated like some other makes.
