I am a little slow, and I am constantly second guessing things. It is chilly in here. Thanks for your concerns. I am going to post a picture.

Installing new circulator
I am installing a new circulator and the old circulator gaskets appear to have grease on the flange gaskets. The installation instructions do not mention anything, so I assume they are installed dry. Is that a correct assumption?0 -
should you ever have to remove the pump or flange....
a thin coating of teflon paste on one side of the gasket will generally make when you reconnect the flange or allow the gasket to be easily removed from one surface.

Hey Ross................

Interesting....
I have used spit, B&G oil on fingers to lightly coat gasket, But never leak lock , or never seize...... all we need is more crap in the system....;-)
