Baseboard heating installed before flooring?

My contractor wants to install our baseboard heat before we get our wood flooring installed. Does this sound like a good idea or should we get the flooring installed first?
Thanks,
Jeff

I would
install the floor first. The enclosure and fin will get all beat up by the floor installer.0 -
i doi it that way...
all the time...if the flooring installers want heat...most do they will be carefull. It makes my job easier...that way I can find the studs to screw it to the wall. kpc
