Noisy Radiator

Actually, it seems as if the noise is in the water pipe leading to the bedroom radiator of the unit upstairs. Anything I can do about that?

Noisy Radiator
Help!
At the beginning of the summer, my wife and I bought a unit in an old building which is steam heated. Yesterday, we had the furnace in the building turned on and now we're not sleeping. The radiator in our bedroom is making a hissing sound every few minutes and it's driving us crazy! The bedroom radiator is controlled by a simple valve (it's either open or closed.) The other radiators are quiet, so for now we're sleeping in the living room. What can I do to get my bedroom back? Any help would be appreciated.0 -
replace
the hissing ent with a new one..perhaps with a larger orifice too, that way hopefully you won't hear air escaping as the boiler sends out steam..
