Controlling the boiler with a new zone

I've got an existing system controlled by a simple stat... then we added some infloor heat in the basement using its own circ & stat. Now, the homeowner wants to maintain a warm floor (basement) even though the main floor stat is not calling for heat... what control strategy would one use to allow the boiler to fire on a call from either stat?
Thanks in advance

Need a Relay
Your going to need a relay to turn on burner. Depend on the set up where and how to wire it in.0 -
Relay needed
I kind of figured as much, but now, will there be any current or voltage feedback issues that might arise from the dual connection to the boiler?0 -
If you only
have the two zones get a Taco SR502 zone relay and it will come with instructions should have no feedback issues, if you might be adding a zone in the future or want outdoor reset then get the WSR503EXP or SR504EXP.0 -
Thanks
Thanks guys, I'll look into the Taco relay stuff0
