    Talk about raising the bar...

I've seen some spectacular work on this website, but I seldom get to see much of it in real life. Last week, I had the privilige of visitng Andy Stack's facility near Cleveland,Ohio. It's in a nice industrial park, and the first thing you notice in the professionally done sign and landscaping. If you're a homeowner & potential customer, you first enter a wonderful showroom equipped with the lastest in heated towel racks and panelrads on display, a fully tricked out Viessmann boiler that does snowmelt and heats the place and some of the exhibits is in a seperate room off to the side, a neat practical demo & preview of what your new system will look like, this demo boiler room is well-lit and spotless. A conference room with every amenity is where you would go next to do the design and sign the deal. The literature is organized, up-to-date and the room is decorated with framed job pix and magazine articles.

His trucks are done in a very classy red, black & gold paint scheme, some of the newer ones have graphics as well. The techs keep the trucks clean with an on-site pressure washer, and uniforms are required, and provided.

Then there is his training room! Few votechs and manufacturers have anything like THIS! Steam, hydronic, conventional and high-efficiency, radiant & zoned AC, all operable and can be set up with common problems for trainees to find & fix.

Andy has really accomplished something here. Not everyone needs a show room, but if you are contemplating that move, Andy's place is the goal to try to reach. The best designed and installed system has to be sold to someone first, and Andy has set the standard on establishing credibility and trust, as well as showing some of the finer things available to potential hydronic system owners, right when they are making a decision. Great attention to detail on the selling side. Thanks, Andy! Great to meet you and to work in your great facility.
