    Yesterday,

while moving our daughter, Meghan, into her new apartment in Manhattan, this rock dove droped a liquid load directly down the back of my shirt. It splashed across my neck and had me gagging at the curb. I was just coming out of the front door and down the stoop, minding my own business. What a shot!

Little bugger should be pitching for the Yankees.
    Retired and loving it.

looks like he (you can tell by the neck size) is a pro.
Nice keystone ornament to work off, right above the doorway.

    Rock Doves

Figured, you, Dan, would know them by their real names.

Here in Politically Correct Boston, they are known as "Urban Eagles" and a host of things unfit to print in a family newspaper.

Some cultures believe that getting hit like that is a sign of good fortune, a blessing.

These are cultures which do not have pidgeons.

    That must

be one of the relatives to those that Ted Williams missed when he was shooting them off the Wall at Fenway back in the 50's.

Those he missed were sent to NY to, well you found out what.

    Nothing personal, just BASEBALL.

    Dan...

...Looking at that face by your bird, one can't help but imagine they both are thinking the same thing, "You are beneath me". Have you considered an umbrella ;?)

    Yours, Larry
