The FireDragon. He was very instrumental to their presence in the American market, and owns and (still) runs one of the original models.

I don't think he's associated with them anymore....but has nothing but good to say about them. Heck, I liked them too. Especially the steamers that they imported during the early 80's.

The weakest link (back then) was the adapters and gaskets, that converted our pipe to the European block. Hopefully, if they're importing them, they've had the forsight to tap them accordingly. Damn the WORLD STANDARD!!! JMHO. Chris

    Good afternoon,
I am interested in knowing if anyone has installed a Pensotti Boiler in a home? What are your thoughts on them?

    I hear...

They are a very fine boiler, used, only in very small geographic spots in northern New England.

Been in this biz 44 years and other than a rare trade show, never even saw one! That doesn't mean much however.

Most have never see an FCX or a G.E.LA25G either.

I have heard and read nothing bad, and lots of good things about them.

  • Ive installed them, and I like them very much. I havent installed a Penzotti in about 5 years or so, maybe Ill find them on the web and see what theyve been up to.

My local supplier stopped carrying them and it became more of a hassle to locate them. Thats the only reason I stopped installing them.

    Oh Yeah

I've done a boatload of them; all with Riellos and absolutely no probems. They are a very good, triple pass, low mass cast iron boiler.

There was a period of several months about 6 years ago when the distributorship was in dissaray, and it was hard to get a Pensotti, but that has all been resolved. Steve Cole (a GREAT guy) is again the North American distributor. PNA, Inc. in Bangor Maine. 1-888-655-6692. www.pensotti-pna.com
