Boiler insulation jacket

I'd use something like KAOWool just because it's about as safe as it gets... good for use up to 2,300°F... as it was designed as a safe drop-in replacement for asbestos. You can get big sheets/rools of the stuff at <a href="http://www.mcmaster.com">McMaster Carr</a>. Good luck!

No Insulation Jacket
We have a 58 year old steam Boiler that somewhere in the past the insulation jacket was removed. The entire boiler does not have an insulation jacket.
What material can be used for this nowadays?
