Primary / Secondary boiler piping Ultra Boiler

Could anyone please explain the benefits or drawbacks of using Weil-Mclain's method of primary / secondary piping as shown in the Ultra boiler manual(supplies together on one side of secondary piping, returns together on the other) verses the method that I am more familiar with of using two closely spaced tees coming off of the primary loop with one being the feed and the second being the return for each zone? Thanks

Not much
As far as I can tell. I've done it both ways. If you need to mix a zone supply temp different than other zone temps, you need to pipe it as the boiler in the primary.0 -
Even water temps...
the returns from the frist zones are not knocking down the temp. to the next zone..... the way they have it you are sure to get the same water temp. to every zone.
