Help - heatlink, statlink

Hi all: I have a heatlink electronic thermostat controlling one of their zone actuators (heat element - wax) on their manifold, using the statlink board. The electronic tstat has all sorts of options but they provide little guidance on them. It seems that the tstat as the temp is close to the setpoint starts to modulate the actuator resulting in my TI150 being fired up then shut down over and over (boiler bairly gets time to fire after primary pump activates and then it shuts down)- not good. I have tried various settings of the options in the tstat like hysteresis etc but don't seem to solve this problem. The statlink literature schematic shows their relay providing power to my boiler dry (0 volt) input and the other relay contact powering the zone pump. That's how I connected it. Help please from someone who knows the heatlink line or at least the PI control characteristic of tstats.

Is there a delay jumper on the statlink board? On some of the old boards there was a jumper that you could set the delay for 0/3/5 or 10 minutes. If your delay is set for 0 you might want to try a 3 or 5 minute delay.0 -

Mark - No jumper that I am aware of. Sounds like I need some kind of delay type controller - but why would they set it up like this??
