Water or steam: how to tell?
How do I determine what type of heating system I have? House is circa 1924 with cast iron radiators, and an oil furnace.
How can I remove the radiator, so I can restore it, replace the flooring, and then reinstall it? Advice or links welcome. TIA.0 -
Steam boilers have a glass gauge or vial somewhere on it
that indicates water level. In either case, I would recommend a professional remove it and reinstall. Mad Dog
