A "fan assisted" convector, is more commonly known as a cabinet unit heater. Other manufacturers are McQuay, Modine and Reznor.

Who makes them for hydronic heating and do they make them with an output in excess of 40K Btu/h, fan assisted of course. Wall mounted.

    Many manufacturers

Airtherm, Sterling, Trane, Vulcan are the ones I specify most often. What water temperature are you running?

At 180F supply water, 20 degree drop, a Sterling 10 with a standard coil will do the job (41.5 MBH output) at 4.0 GPM and low speed. Unit is 66" long, 9.5" deep and 25" high.

The high capacity 2-row coil model will do the job in an 06 size (40.9 MBH output) at 2.0 GPM (40 degree drop- cool!) Dimensions are the same as the #10 except length is shorter at 59 inches.
