Is there any way that the TN4 system can be used when the thermostat circuits are wired with only 3 wires?

Tekmar
go to the web site and look at their wiring diagrams. I think you can do the 3 wire set up.

tn4 & 3 wires
The TN4 stat itself will work for zone control with only 3 wires but requires the 4th wire to communicate to the TN4 control module. I ran into the same situation earlier this month. The only solution I found was to use a sensor in the thermostat location, have it read to the TN4 thermostat in the mechanical room where I could provide 4 wires from the stat to the controller. The stat is then programmed to read the remote sensor, not the integral sensor in the stat. This will give you all the features that make the TN4 series worth the cost. Does this help?0 -
Stole the words right out of my mouth Dan.
