pressed into the base, or threaded in?
If the latter, it's likely a Nason. Please post pics!
See the "round radiator" thread for pics of what I'm sure is a round Nason:

Old Reed Rad
I have what I think is an old "Reed" rad, but the top,or lid is missing. The vertical tubes are round, and this top dressing was held-on by 2 screws. Anybody know where I might find one? The top of the rad measures 16 X 7.5inches with 45degree corners. Any ideas?0 -
Steamhead I think your right
At the base there are very slight impressions of a thread, at the top its all plugs,as there are 10 of them.0 -

Might be a Nason
especially if there is no name on it. I bet those tubes and manifolds were assembled with right-and-left threads.

If they are all left right nips I cant imagine the process of assembly, All the nips would have to make top and bottom at the same time at the same rate am I crazy

I agree Jeff
it would have been a "****", but if i look under the top the vertical tubes you see, end just under-it. it`s almost like a tube, with-in a tube.0
