I have the same problem
in a newly installed cast iron radiator. How 'small' is the leak? In my case, it's one drop every 3 or so minutes and over a few days, it appears to have automatically sealed itself. But, I just wanted to share, I'll leave the real reply to the pros on this site.0 -
Where is it leaking from? Has anyone replaced anything on the rad? New nipples? Air vent?

I'm sorry for jumping in since I am not the original poster
but, in my instance the leak is around the new brass bushing that was installed onto the radiator to connect the radiator to 3/4" copper pipe.0 -
The valve tailpiece is installed with a spud, or dog wrench that fits into the tailpiece and tightens it from inside to not damage the mating surface of the tailpiece. If it is leaking, it will need to be removed, taped, doped, and reinstalled correctly. Do not try stop leak products.
