I spoke with Jeff this morning, and we are suggesting installing a "service switch" box next to the GB142. Then run BX/romex under the GB142 and where the drawer slids out, drill a hole and install the greenfield/romex connector. Please check with local code for requirements.

legal inlet to connection board
I know this is a electrical question, but we are doing our first GB 142 and according to my electrician, he has no legal connection site to get into the connection box. It is obviously set up for OS cable which we can not use. We must use either hard conduit or BX cable, both of which need a knock out to hook into with a screwed connector. Problem is, there is no place yto do this. Anyone else run into this and what was done?0
