2 Pipe Gravity to Forced System
I have a 2 pipe gravity hot water system converted to a forcded 2 pipe system. The way it was wired was on a call for heat burner and pump turned on , boiler set up as coldstart surprisingly enough.Load 190,000 btu old Repco Boiler, to put it politly there is allot of water in this system.I took a section of this system and zoned it seperatly. Should I maintain a temperature in the boiler or leave it as a cold start boiler ?...No domestic hw with boiler. How effiecent is it the way it is ? C ustomer said fuel bills 1000.00 a month, do you think this is a factor? If I was to maintain temp. What temp. have cast iron raidiators 160/140? or higher. Any helpI would love it. Thanks0
