Try Patriot Supply, they are usually very good with hard to find items. 516-249-3100.

Cast Iron and other boiler parts.
Is there anyone out there that is retaining, keeping, pack ratting, hoarding, etc old boiler cast iron?
Recently I removed a Peerless TW3 water boiler from service due to a cracked block. While it was in the trailer destine for the scrap yard, I had the apprentice remove the cast iron front plate, inspection hole cover, front clean out cover and the breech box - aka flue collector. Within a month I needed the front boiler plate burner mount cover for another customer.
I was wondering if there is anyone that keeps this kind of stuff like from common boilers. Old Weil Mclain mod 68 parts etc.
After I priced a factory part and shipping it well paid for the labor to harvest the used parts.
Am I being wise, or creating a junk pile?0 -
We do that to some extent. My partner accuses me of being a "pack rat" all the time. But, on those cold nights when the supply house is closed, he appreciates the pile of gold in tha back garage.
Lately, I have been throwing out stuff I normally would save. We are running out of room.0
