Overlapping light wieght Al paltes
Ended up with about 20 plates leftover from a small staple-up job and am considering going back and fastening these OVER the plates that are already installed. Any of you ever tried this? I'm concerned that they might be pretty noisy during expansion.0 -
NEVER EVER DO THAT.
NEVER.
EVER.
Friends don't let friends let lightweight plates touch.0 -
I'd be stunned if you could avoid noise, yes. There is no good reason to do it anyway so it's not worth the risk.0
