Am curious however as to their geothermal source. It must be significant. A "hot spot" on the way to the Yellowstone caldera?

Wish I Could Connect to This!
Low residential use @ 20F assumed delta-t = $1.003 or so per therm with low per month service charge and (it appears) no other fees. Note that first page is industrial use @ 50F delta-t.
Three years ago I might have considered it a bit high. Today, I seriously doubt I'll ever again see such a rate.0 -

Used to live in Boise. There is a section of the old town that all the homes were conncted to geothermal. Some of the old homes had huge soaking tubs..............
The city hall, new in the late 70's, is connected to theis heat source.0 -
Found this interesting article.
Appears that it was in danger of being over-tapped until they figured out that they needed to return the water via injection wells to maintin a reasonably high water table.0
