If only more homeowners and contractors thought like you.....The Wall is a very unique place and folks who come here certainly do get an appreciation for how real pros conduct themselves and the high level of craftsmanship. Thanks Gordy. Mad Dog

    Home Owners

Please take the time to view Mark Eatherton's thread "critque wanted". If you are planning on having work done to your heating system, or anything else. PLEASE educate yourself. The internet is a home library of just about anything you want to learn.

The lowest bidder is not always the best choice. If you start to see work progress like the pics in that thread, its time to start asking questions.

I'm a Carpenter, and not a heating professional. But I do have a radiant heating system. I grow tired of seeing degrading quality from so called professionals in "ALL" trades.

In this day with the housing booms all over the country, and fly by night contractors, its time to understand what you are not getting for your money. Not what you are getting!

Usually the cheapest bidder either forgets something.... usually critical, or does not allow enough man hours to do quality work. Sometimes they just do not know their own cost of doing business, which means they will not be around long as a contractor.

These guys put alot of money into their own education of heating systems. They WANT to learn the most up to date, and best technology, installation practices, materials for economy, and your comfort pleasure.

Sorry for the rant! People need to KNOW! Thanks DAN For this web site. Thanks Mark, and Everyone else on this site for volunteering to educate me.

    Pleasure is mine.

The pleasure is all mine MAD DOG, I have had alot of friends in my circle that have come to me only after the damage is done. SAD I will tell you. Then it always ends up in court. Even if you win the contractor usually goes belly up, if they see the booms going to get lowered on them.

Everyone makes mistakes, some people learn from them, some just continue to make them. It takes a true craftsman to admit he/she is wrong, and messed things up, and that same true craftsman will make things right. It takes a TRUE WEASEL to do a crack pot job, then take the money, and run. No morals, NO heart, and NO PRIDE !
