Propex opinions, training?

I guess this isn't exactly a heating question, but...

What are your opinions of Wirsbo Propex? The tools are reasonably priced. Anyone know what training is required to install in Massachusetts? I want to get my plumber trained.

Do you think it's worth just going straight to Viega ProPress? I don't see much info about the use of ProPress on pex... seems to be mostly copper oriented. And I understand the ProPress on Pex for potable isn't approved in MA yet?

I can loan you our Pro"Pez' expander if you need it. Those expansion fittings (Upanor/Wirsbo) are approved in MA. They make a good fitting. I also have the Viega pressing tool. Both of these systems are very very good. I'd trust the fittings over the pipe. Training your plumber is another story. MA plumbers.

What a nice offer. I'm about to order a bunch of fittings to redo my 3/4" to 1" around the boiler (ugh), and was going to order the aquapex/fittings I need as well. I was looking at an expander on ebay, but your offer is too tempting for someone who might only use the tool a few times. I'll give you a call when I'm all ready to go, and we can arrange the loan.

And yes, Mike did help me out. Everything is working as it should.

Don't use the PEX for near boiler V piping.
