Musclepalooza!

I was there today. I had a great time but it seems like the threat of bad weather kept people away. I think there were more cars last year.
I saw a L88 big block Corvette go into the tens and run 11.0 all day long on STREET TIRES! F.A.S.T. class, Factory appearing street tire cars.

Antique Iron
Any car nuts out there ? I went last year, this year is supposed to be even better.
60's + 70's era muscle cars, no rice. Car show and grag racing at Lebanon Valley, NY. My neighbor has a 69 chevelle with a 468 inch big block. First day out he was going mid 11's 124mph. Not too bad for a big heavy car.

EJ, yes they have a dirt oval track. Tony Stewart has raced there a couple of times. They also have a 1/4 mile drag strip.
I was at Englishtown in the '70's when the s%^$ houses got set on fire and they closed the campground. My mechanical contractor friend has a private plane and flew me to the summernationals last year and my name is on the list for this year. Lifestyles of the rich and famous! The air strip is about 100yards from the dragstrip.
I will be going to NY Sunday. Hope it doesn't rain. I wish I had some of the cars from my youth. I "HAD" a 1959 Corvette, a 1964 Impala SS, a 1964 Nova, a 1966 GTO, a 1972 Lemans [almost a gto] and a 1966 mustang. What would they be worth today?
