Round here Dave a 4" inch pour is the norm. Depth of the concrete after meeting the structral requirements of the building is less of an issue then the insulation placed under the slab. Best Wishes J.Lockard

    In Floor Heating

When installing in-floor radiant heating in a basement concrete floor, how thick should the concrete be? Any suggestions on how the floor should be detailed?

Thanks in advance for your comments.
