Equalizer on pumped condensate return?
On a pumped condensate return system, is there a need for an equalizer pipe? I understand that a Hartford loop would be an option on the system since the condensate pump's check valve protects against boiler water loss. Doesn't that same check make the equlizer pipe unnecessary as well?0 -

Thanks for the reply Dan! I assume you mean so far away as in it is so far away it turns into an open gravity return (partially full pipe). Thanks again.0
