I need to stage, rotate and work with a Johnson BMS / BACNet. I need to remotely control and/or monitor on/off status, hot water supply temperature and alarm status.

Looking for a control
I am looking for a control that can sequence 3 hot water boilers that will be BMS (Building Management System) compatible. I am looking to stay away from Heat Timer and I understand that Tekmar is not BMS compatible.
Does anyone know another control that may fit this application.0 -
Contact these people, they are great
Contact Preffered Utilities, number 1-203-743-6741. They will be able to help you, they have everything from boiler feed pumps to extensive building controls. if not, They can refer you to some one who can0 -
Hays Cleveland
They make a control that will work for that application and the engineering is top shelf.

tekmar Boiler Controls
The tekmar Boiler Control 268 can receive a 0 to 10 Vdc signal from a BMS to change the boiler water temperature setpoint. This is sufficient for many applications.

Preffered Utilities
We just retrofitted a boiler room in Long Island and Preffered Utilities is the control system we used.
In this case the building does not have a functioning BMS. Our system is currently a stand alone application.
System does a nice job modulating our gas burners based upon supply, return and outdoor temps.
The building is a 12 story apartment building. On one day in particular the outdoor temp was 32* the supply temp was 160* the return temp was 155* and we were firing 480 MBH. Easy to justify the retrofit.
Nice system with good support. In our case the rep did the set up/factory training for the facility/owner.

Sequence?
As in stage and/or rotate? I would think that Honeywell's W7750 series building manager or some component of that system would work nicely.
What BMS is in place?0 -

Go to www.caleffi.us and take a look at the BLR-1 in the iRadiant section. What you are looking for is off the shelf0 -

Go to www.caleffi.us and take a look at the BLR-1 in the iRadiant section. What you are looking for is pretty much off their shelf.0 -

Are you looking for the Johnson system to intigrate with your new system or simply indicate the status of the equipment?
