Adding a rad or baseboard

The supply and return pipes that I can tap into are 1 1/2", both have unions, that branch off a 2 1/2" mains. These 1 1/2" supply and return pipes feed the 2nd and 3rd floors. No zone valves.

HELP on adding a rad or baseboard
The apartment company that I work for wants to add a rad or baseboard to a basement apartment. The heating system is a two pipe hot water system, an old gravity system that's been converted. There are pipes in the ceiling that I can tap into. Do I need special Tee's since I'm downfeeding? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,

Two Pipe
Need to see and check out the system to determine the correct hook up. Beware just plugging in could cause other problems....0
