I tried to log on, to no avail. The RPA needs to make entrance to the seminar site a 2 click deal (similar to HVAC-TV.com), not a 45 minute project.

Makes joining the RPA worthwhile...
As always, Robert, the provacatour, was an outstanding presenter - live and on-line via the RPA. My head hurts.

a moth to a flame(G)
It took more than an hour to get through the BS tonight so that I could access the seminar. As a result, I missed the first 15 minutes. That's with a DSL line, so God help the dial-up folks in downloading Explorer 7. I use Netscape, so that was my first challenge. Then there was the "Gates" (as in Bill) of Hell to negotiate as validations of existing software had to be confirmed prior to being 'gifted' with a version of Explorer. Shives me the gits!
Dan sucked me into this Internet vortex with an invite to visit the first version of The Wall. Life was permanently altered.

I hear ya...
I came home, remembered there was a webinar with the Bean on tonight, fought my way through al the update crap only to have the newest version of IE7 take a dump on me.
Missed the webinar, spent an hour futzing with the PC trying to get it back to the original configuration.
I too am starting to develop a strong hate for the Gates clan...
That said, I did catch the Bean in his first RPA webinar, and as usual, it was excellent. This new webinar thing holds a LOT of potential in the education arena.
Kind of exciting, these days are:-)
Sorry I missed you all there. Next time I will have to drag home the laptop from work which is already set up and ready to rock and roll, head set and all.

you've seen them.
It was nice to participate last nights' webinar. At first I was
hesitant, because I have a MAC.
But it worked without a hiccup.
You've seen the commercials, its time to add a MAC to your tool box.
yea, they are more expensive but..... well you know the rest.
Weezbo, I believe you can download the presentation, either at the RPA or Bean's website.

that's a relief
I was thinking it was just me having my usual computer knock-about. Seems like any time I wind up having to download anything from Gates, it turns into an ordeal that gets me on the edge of going postal.

It's not just Gates
It's the software to provide a "secure" log-in. Some packages are just harder to deal with.

that too
was a very convoluted process for me as well. Not as clear as it could or should be.
