I need to replace a 30 year old weil mclain "lg 7" in a very old home. I am thinking of using 2 buderus units, (either the wall hung or the G124), twinned together. The le7 has an input of 540k and an output of 232k. radiation is collumn rads and convectors. What do you guys think you would do? could the dirt in the systm be a problem for the condensing unit? I appreciate any and all response, thank you

heat loss
Have you done a proper heat loss? Mod con boilers would be a good choice for that application and two would give you twice the modulation. Before you go with two boilers do a proper heat loss one boiler might do just fine.
